ANKORS meets with persons living with HIV/AIDS, those affected by HIV/AIDS. We also network with health care workers, physicians, dentist, service providers and community members to inventory resources in our communities, identify strengths and weaknesses and determine the types of support, outreach and care services needed or desired in the East Kootenay.
ANKORS is funded through and partners with the Interior Health Region.

ANKORS has an open door policy so that many community members can access our resource library with video, print and audio assets. We also maintain a database of organizations and individuals who assist in this work.

ANKORS sponsors an annual AIDS Walk and a Memorial on World AIDS Day. We have several educational programs we present to individuals or community groups.
We distribute free condoms!
